Man Deported from Texas Faces No Criminal Charges in El Salvador but Remains in Prison

The Bukele government said they imprisoned a man deported from Texas citing “sovereign cooperation.” They asked that an international order protecting his rights be withdrawn, despite their own admission that they are holding him without criminal charges.
